Yes, our course is offered in partnership with a WI DOT-approved school, Arcade Driving School. IMPROV driver education is fast, fun, and the easiest way to get out of that boring classroom and complete online drivers ed.
Students must be at least 14 1/2 years old to take this driver education course and at least 15 1/2 to apply for a learner’s permit.
Per the State of Wisconsin, you are required to spend a minimum of 30 hours in the course and a maximum of two hours per day. You must complete the driver education course within 90 days in Wisconsin. We take your driver education seriously and will help you pass with flying colors!

We don’t restrict the number of tries because you’ll utilize this knowledge in the upcoming months when you start driving. So don’t feel bad if you fail your traffic quiz the first time. They’re short and easy, meaning you won’t have to study for months to get a passing grade. Students can also retake them for fun. Many of our reviews rave about how fun and comedic our classes are.
If you fail a quiz but have time limitations, you can retake the test or program later when your schedule opens up again. The only requirements we have are the hour limitations implemented by the state. Besides, our quizzes are flexible enough to fit any extra space in your schedule. You can even make requirements to give yourself a fun and additional challenge. For example, you may want a perfect score on every quiz.
There is a final exam, but you are allowed multiple attempts to pass the program until you correctly score 16 out of 20 questions. We make Wisconsin drivers safe, and the course is easy when you take driver education seriously. We can also help point you in the right way for driving school!
Students can review previous lessons at any time. You can keep taking the exam until you receive a high enough score. Everyone can pass at their own pace, so there’s no pressure! Proof of course completion will be mailed to the WI DOT within 5 days of finishing the course. Once this happens, you will be in the DOT database as having completed the required online course and eligible to apply for a permit. Once you complete the course, you can download a temporary proof of completion immediately, which is only for your records.
