Complete the supervised driving
You’ll be required to complete 65 hours of supervised driving with a guardian or driving school instructor. Ten of the 65 behind the wheel training hours must be at nighttime and five of these hours must be in and during bad weather. Take the Road Test
You can schedule your road test online or by phone (717-412-5300). Or schedule a state approved third party to administer the test here. You’ll need to bring these documents with you:
Valid learner’s permit
The signed parent or guardian form DL-180C signed by your parent or guardian
Proof of insurance for the vehicle you’ll be driving during the test Proof of registration of the vehicle you’ll be driving during the test
Driver’s license of accompanying driver’s valid driver’s license.
You can take it up to 3 times.
Once you pass the behind the wheel test, you’ll be guided to the “picture area” where you’ll get your photo taken! Make sure you style your hair and wipe off any perspiration from your brow; this photo will be on your license for years to come.
You will receive your official Junior Driver’s License in the mail within 10 business days.
